I think I've mentioned that I had been working on a few projects. Well, this is one of them. May I introduce the Waves of Grain Hat. I needed to make a hat for a project, so, I turned to my stitch pattern book and found the PERFECT stitch pattern.
After converting the stitch pattern from a "flat stitch" to an "in-the-round" stitch. I calculated the amount to Cast-on and I was on my way! I LOVED the way the stitch pattern created waves of texture. It reminded me of grain seed heads, so, Waves of Grain seemed like a good name for the pattern. It works up great in either a solid, tweed or self-striping yarn. I hope you enjoy knitting up the Waves of Grain Free Pattern.
I had a friend test-knit the pattern and got good feedback. I feel pretty confident that most of the confusion got ironed out. Let me know if you have any problems with the pattern. I'm still new at converting my notes to an actual pattern. It's a learning process, I guess!
Happy Stitching!
Love the colors; it is beautiful!
