Pink Squares for Breast Cancer

It's October. Which is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Over at JCCF (Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund), we've been busy knitting and crocheting pink afghan squares to make up blankets to be auctioned off (at rodeos during their tough enough to wear pink auctions) to raise funds for Breast Cancer.

It takes quite a few blocks to make up an afghan, so, if you can knit or crochet a 12-inch block....head on over to JCCF to join us in making these pink squares.

For some added incentive, we've got PRIZES! For the member who knits/crochets (and gets them shipped to Wendy) the most squares we have this package......

It includes a reusable pink ribbon tote bag, a pink patchwork project bag, a pink ribbon pen and a lovely skein of Indigo Moon 100% Merino in shades of pink.

Here's a closer shot of the yarn which was generously donated by our member woolenewe.

Prize package #2 for the member with a knit or crochet block that receives the most "LOVES" posted in this thread.....

Again, a pink ribbon tote bag, pink patchwork project bag, pink ribbon pen, but this time a Merino/nylon sock with shimmer magenta yarn from Dream. Here's a closer shot of this yarn generously donated by woolenewe.

Can you see the shimmer in the yarn? It's SO pretty!

Anyway, come on over to JCCF and join us knitting and crocheting for a very good cause. AND. Who knows, you might just win a prize!

Happy afghan blocks!

Lori
