Pink Squares for the Cause

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. We at JCCF normally knit and crochet blocks to make blankets for injured cowboys and cowgirls. Last month though, we began knitting and crocheting our 12" blocks in shades of pink to make some blankets to be raffled off for funds for Breast Cancer Research.

It seems though that September has been EXTREMELY busy for everyone, So-o-o-o-o.....we're going to extend the block making through October.  We also decided to add a little incentive. We're going to make it a contest! For each 12" block (acrylic or washable/superwash wool) you knit or crochet and send to Wendy at JCCF, we will enter your name into the hat for a random drawing for this.....

It includes -
  • 2 skeins of pink self-striping sock yarn
  • a tube of pink beads
  • 4 pink heart stitch markers
  • pink Tic - Tacs
  • lined pink ribbons drawstring project bag
So, if you knit or crochet, you should think about joining us here in making pink squares for the cause. You might even win a prize!
